It's not all spreadsheets and sales targets for Van Walt - its 'temps du parti à Paris!'

Christmas seems a distant memory to most but the team at Van Walt won't forget their Festive outing in a hurry - a weekend trip to Paris!

"Last year was a record year for Van Walt," reflects Vincent. "The whole team worked really hard, everyone going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had the right products for our customers, at the right price and we delivered them on time, every time."

The result - the business had their best year ever and, as a special thank you, the team elected to splash out on a trip to Paris. "Forget Paris in the Spring time," says Yvonne, Sales Manager. "Paris - anytime of the year - is amazing. We packed so much into the weekend, right from the moment we left Haslemere - seeing St Pancras station while it's still shiny and new; jumping on the Eurostar and arriving in Paris in time for lunch; visiting the Eiffel Tower and going to the top - despite sub-zero temperatures; dinner in the Latin Quarter; the best table for a show at the Moulin Rouge - bed. Up next morning for breakfast followed by a visit to Montmartre, the Sacre Coeur, lunch and back on the Eurostar and home in time for tea on Sunday!"

"Despite everything we saw there is still so much more to see," berates Sian, Admin Assistant. "If ever you needed an incentive to work hard in 2008 the promise of going back and seeing the rest of the City is certainly a great carrot. We're working hard to make sure we're there again in December 2008," concludes Sian.
