The vanwaltDataNode-Mini is a small, compact and simplified version of the vanwaltDataNode, whilst retaining almost all desirable features available to the standard vanwaltDataNode. The reduced size of the aluminium housing allows the vanwaltDataNode-Mini to be discretely placed into small spaces such as under well covers. The reduced size also makes the vanwaltDataNode-Mini perfect for use in urban areas as it easily blends in with its surroundings.

The vanwaltDataNode-Mini turns any sensor into a wireless unit. It sits at location and transfers sensor measurements using radio frequency up to 10 km line of sight. If the connected sensor has memory then the vanwaltDataNode-Mini transmits the data from the sensor’s internal memory. If the sensor does not have memory then the vanwaltDataNode-Mini collects the data from the sensor and stores it inside its own onboard memory.
