DFM 6.1 Doppler Flow Meter

The DFM 6.1 Doppler Flow Meter from Pulsar Measurement accurately measures the flow rate of ‘complex’ fluids with suspended solids or entrained air. This clamp-on, ultrasonic non-contacting, flow meter measures flow from outside a pipe with no contact with process fluid.

Advantages

  • Doppler technology sends a signal through the pipe wall and is reflected off the particles within the liquid, the change in frequency is reflected on the controller in the form of pipe flow measurement
  • Ideal to monitor flow for ‘difficult’ liquids, or liquids with suspended solids such as wastewater, slurries, sludge, chemicals, viscous liquids, and abrasives
  • Clamps on the outside of any pipe 12.5 mm inside diameter or larger
  • Obtains flow measurement readings without interrupting the process
  • Easy-to-follow, 5-button menu keypad to make setting up quick and easy
  • Works on the majority of pipe materials
