Van Walt were invited to be part of the UKRI ADOPT programme as a technological partner to help assist with research which will look at the use of sensors to help growers achieve optimal water and crop quality.

Vincent and Josh completed a two day installation of multiple WET 150 soil moisture sensors and Tensiomarks measuring soil tension, with our DataNode loggers and DataGateway at Fleurie’s nursey in West Sussex and Hilliers nursery in Romsey.

As well as installing the equipment, Josh had his headliner moment and was interviewed and filmed by the Horticultural Trades Association’s media team.
