Our UK team is based in Haslemere, Surrey, and is the head office for the Van Walt group. Our office is home to our Van Walt Directors, a sales and marketing team, a rental and servicing division and a dedicated R&D team who are responsible for project managing all our bespoke telemetry installations, product development and building our Hex Peristaltic Pumps.
With over 40 plus years of experience within the environmental monitoring industry, our team is armed with decades of knowledge, experience on site, and technical and hands on experience with the equipment we offer.
The Van Walt NZ team has established a strong reputation for supplying high-quality equipment, as well as reliable installation, training and repair services.
The Wanaka office opened in 2013, and word spread quickly about the quality and reliability of the Van Walt service, resulting in the growth of the business to meet increasing demand. Today, the Van Walt NZ team has grown to four, with three based in Wanaka and one working remotely from the North Island. As a small team, these roles often overlap, but each member brings their dedicated expertise and commitment to provide the best service possible.

The idea for Van Walt SA was born on a beautiful wine farm in Stellenbosch just days before the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the world came to a standstill, Vincent, Rosie and Jani got the Van Walt SA office up and running, setting the tone for what Van Walt SA would become — a team defined by resilience, initiative, and a true go-getter attitude.
