Paper Jam

It occurred to me today that the paper jam is a thing of the past.  How technology has moved on in such a short period of time.  I remember very clearly how often somebody was in front of the printer wrestling with paper that had managed to tie itself in a knot around the toner cartridge.  Not to mention the hours lost on trying to unblock ink jets!

Oh how simple it is today.  You press the print button and voila! One printed and pressed document without fuss!  Something we just take for granted today.

This got me thinking to how our industry has evolved as quickly in the last few years.  Many of you have been with us long enough to see our products evolve in the same way.  Software for specialist equipment that used to be unstable and hard to use is now intuitive and reliable, Products like the DIVER level logger have become smaller, slicker and more versatile.  With the advent of the rope thread system on our percussion drilling rigs, broken connector studs are a thing of the past.  Groundwater sampling pumps can pump deeper and at greater volume than before.  Sampling techniques and protocols have evolved and the equipment has evolved with it.

And of course, Van Walt and You our customer have evolved together to cope and adapt with new demands and challenges.  Take a moment to look back on the past few years and see how much we have changed.   I think we can all be proud of how much we have done and how far we have come.
