Aquaread™ has unveiled their new and updated range of multi parameter water quality testing sondes. The new AP-2000 probe and the new AP-7000 sondes offer more choices and more parameters for the water quality monitoring market.
These new products cover every water quality application from groundwater to surface water and even waste water monitoring. Aquaread offers handheld instruments for portable water quality monitoring right through to sondes designed for long term deployment with self-cleaning and telemetry capabilities.
The new AP-2000 is a portable multiparameter probe supplied with standard parameters to measure Optical DO, Specific EC, Absolute EC, pH, ORP, TDS, Resistivity, Salinity SSG and Temperature. In addition, there is a choice of an ISE electrode socket and one optical electrode plus the option to add a depth sensor. The choice of ISE electrodes includes: Ammonium & Ammonia, Chloride, Fluoride, Nitrate or Calcium. The choices for the optical Electrode are: Turbidity, Chlorophyll, Blue Green Algae, Rhodamine, Fluorescein or Hydrocarbons.
At just 42mm in diameter to fit down 2″ wells the probe is built from marine grade aluminium and stainless steel. The body of each probe is completely resin filled and waterproof for indefinite immersion in even the harshest conditions.
The all new cable for this probe is fully detachable and has an internal Kevlar support line running along its length that is anchored firmly to connectors at each end so there is no need for extra support wires. These high specification connectors feature a large metallic key for a rigid fit, recessed pins for extra protection during pairing, guide markers on each part of the connector to allow you to instantly push the pair together in the correct alignment and they are specified to 30m.
The AP-7000 is a ground breaking instrument designed for long-term deployment during unmanned water testing. Watch this space for more details on this instrument available by request from www.vanwalt.com.
