DART (Detection of Archaeological Residues using remote sensing Techniques) with whom Van Walt is working on another project at Diddington with the supply and installation of TDR soil moisture profile probes, have proposed a thermal imaging experiment at the RAC (Royal Agricultural College) in Cirencester. This was originally instigated after viewing the diurnal temperature variations from the embedded probes and wondering what the impact of the vegetation canopy would be on any sensor.
