When my children were young my father in law used to take them to the Canary Islands for what he said was a recharge of the batteries. Full of youthful energy I didn’t then entirely grasp what he meant. Now, a quarter of a century later, I know exactly what he needed and so for the four days enforced break over the Easter week-end I can relax with my children and grandchildren and if the sun does eventually decide to shine the battery recharge will be complete.
