Upgrades and improvements to Van Walt’s rental service

We are finding more and more of our customers – old and new – are opting for our rental service. Why? It’s cost effective, simply and makes sense good business sense.

Over the last seven years we have expanded and honed our rental operation. We have increased the number and volume of equipment in stock and believe we now have the largest and most extensive environmental rental fleet in the UK. You can hire environmental equipment from pumps: more than nine different types including the versatile MP1 pump with Variable Frequency Drive for smooth, uninterrupted water flow during groundwater sampling or conducting aquifer tests to high flow rates for purging and low flows for sampling. The VFD can precisely control the discharge
flow rate from the pump from 0.1 L/min to 40L/min, to depths down to 60 metres or a Deep Well Bladder Pump that pumps to 150 metres in 50mm or larger wells with an optional drop-tube assembly for sampling to even greater depths.

We have water quality meters with a choice of either YSIs or Aquareads, water level loggers with the market leading Diver-Suite® by Schlumberger Water Services, water & oil level meters and a range of PIDs, including the very popular and ATEX rated Phocheck Tiger, a handheld VOC detector for volatile organic compounds with a wide detection range of 1 parts per billion (ppb) to 20,000 parts per million (ppm).

Uniquely we have a range of sediment samplers, so you win that one-off project and instead of having to make an investment of £000’s to take a handful of samples now you can hire a Mulitsampler, Liquid Layer Sampler, Beeker Sampler and even a Van Veen Grab for a quick indication of sediment type from river and lake beds, large sumps.

Finally we have introduced a range of remediation equipment that includes skimmers, pumps and reclaimers. All the equipment is available for next day delivery, it will arrive cleaned, charges and ready to go.  If you are not familiar with its operation a Quick Start Guide is included or you could arrange for on-site training and set-up from one of our team.

Rental periods run from 2-Day express, for most items through to ‘however long you need it’ , with substantial discounts for periods over 6 weeks.  In addition if you have a project and need a range of items we can offer favourable rates on multiple rental items.
