Narrow Gauge Piezometer Installation
Our Field Services includes narrow gauge piezometer installations. We use the Lost Cone method and the Van Walt Percussion drilling set so we can punch a hollow casing into the ground to a maximum depth of 10m. Therefore we can install a 25 mm ID HDPE piezometer and remove the casing.

Installation of piezometers in areas where sand and gravel sediments would normally collapse a conventionally drilled hole. As with our Window Sampling System, maximum portability, minimal site disturbance, can be used inside buildings with an electric drill.
