Have you met Yvonne?

Many of you, who have been customers for a number of years, will know Yvonne. Yvonne Coonan, Sales Manager has been part of the Van Walt story since November 1991. Working alongside Vincent, Yvonne has been instrumental in developing Van Walt into the business it is today.

"I can honestly say I have enjoyed every moment of my journey with the Van Walt Team," confesses Yvonne. "No two days are ever the same - one day I can be sending out quotations, another day I'm an equipment expert solving problems for the many interesting and varied projects Van Walt's customers are involved with around the country. On another day you may even see me in the flesh - well actually in a hard hat, overalls and steel toe-capped boots - at one of our Window Sampling training sessions or on-site demonstrations."

This year promises to be no different - very busy for Yvonne. "We are planning major campaigns for our window sampling kits, environmental training courses and rental equipment which will all need following up. I will also be out and about making customer visits and delivering equipment training workshops. And, in between all this I will need to re-do my First Aid at Work Certificate!"

Yvonne manages to achieve all this at work while at home she is mother to a beautiful 2 year old daughter called Amanda. "Life is very hectic but I know I'm very lucky - I really enjoy my work though I will really need my break in Tobago, in August," she confesses.

"Joking aside, I would like to take this opportunity to say 'thank you' to everyone I have met and spoken to over the past 17 years. It is all of you who help to make my job unique and I sincerely hope I will be working with many of you again very soon," says Yvonne.
