Dubai and back...in a week!

It's a long way to go for training but it was worth it! That was the opinion of Vincent van Walt who recently flew out to Dubai to undertake some training for Adam Crowe and Andy Parks of Al Futtaim Bodycote - specialists in materials testing and groundwater investigations and one of the leading companies in Dubai dealing with groundwater monitoring and testing.

The training was on the use and application of a Bailer Boring Set, purchased from Van Walt at the end of last year. "This equipment represents a significant investment for a company so it's vital the operatives know exactly how it works, how to ensure you get the best sample results and in what conditions it is most suited to," explains Vincent. "It is our policy to offer onsite training to our customers - even if they are in Dubai - if they make a significant investment with us. From a personal point of view I have never visited this region before so it was incredibly exciting to see for myself this fascinating place where modern sits alongside ancient and the rate of construction is breathtaking."
