Paperwork and more paperwork…..

March 26, 2012

Running an ever expanding fleet of rental equipment for environmental research presents some big challenges. Not only does the equipment need to be cleaned and calibrated we also always check that the item is working to manufacturer’s specifications.

As an example, each Diver level logger is checked for accuracy against a reference pressure transducer. Red means fail Green is good!

As you can imagine, all this produces enormous amounts of paperwork. Meticulously filled in by Gary or Lewis and the entire procedure is overseen by Yvonne. Is this all necessary you may ask? Absolutely and not least because our customers can demand proof for their own Quality Assurance schemes.

Of course we always welcome customers to visit us and inspect our procedures.
