The MRZB product features

A fully hydraulic geo-environmental drilling rig with adjustable all-terrain caterpillar tracks, high impact Lifton hammer, falling weights and 21 ton lift extruder. This rig is light weight and narrow enough to work in confined spaces and with the unique propane gas conversion option it can be used indoors. It is easily transportable in a small trailer or transit-sized van. The MRZB micro rig has been designed specifically for sampling and testing for geotechnical and environmental analysis and monitoring well installation with or without casing.

The MRZB is a fully hydraulic, dynamic micro geo-environmental drilling rig with all terrain, adjustable caterpillar tracks.

Aside from the standard features which are common to most small geo-environmental drilling rigs the MRZB has some unique features:

• Propane Gas option so that it can be used inside buildings
• Interchangeable Drop weights or Percussion Hammer so the most appropriate insertion solution is available to match soil conditions :- liner sampling with or without casing, window sampling, SPT options.
• Hydraulic lifting device allows for 21 ton lift. In real terms this means that in some soil conditions deeper drilling is possible where otherwise retrieval might not be possible with mast extraction only capability.
• Small dimensions, light weight and adjustable track width make it very easy to transport on a small trailer or a transit-sized van and allows it to be used in confined spaces.
• Fully adjustable all terrain caterpillar tracks.
• Tracks can be retracted to a width of just 760mm
• The MRZB can fit through narrow doorways
• Especially suitable and extremely flexible for use in the most difficult of terrains.
• Easily transported on a standard trailer or in the back of a 'transit' type van.
• The rig can be used for sampling and testing for geotechnical and environmental analysis both inside and outdoors.
• Flexible Honda 13HP engine comes as standard and drives all the hydraulic functions on the rig.
• Gas conversion is offered alongside a petrol engine to allow inside working.
• Can run on unleaded fuel or propane gas, just twist a valve to choose.
• Alternatively there is the option of a Perkins 2-cylinder diesel.
• On board vise and carrier to store your sampling and testing equipment.
