For over 25 years Van Walt has been providing soil and groundwater monitoring equipment to the environmental, academic and agricultural research communities. Our wide range of equipment includes: hand augers, manual augers, window samplers, penetrometers, soil sampling equipment; sampling pumps, peristaltic pumps, bailers, tubing, filters, multimeters, water level meters and more.
Van Walt products will be making an appearance in Poole Harbour very soon as part of a research project run by Ralf Huebner from Bournemouth University to monitor pollution levels in the harbour.
What's even more interesting is that the sampling will be done from a boat, so finding the right equipment that is strong enough to withstand currents yet sensitive enough to enable sub-sampling is vital.
Part of the equipment package includes training on its use. Watch this space for more details.
